Early Start available from 08:30 to 09:05 We also provide Midday Cover where the morning children can bring their lunch and stay until 13:05 and the afternoon children can bring their lunch and arrive at 12:05.
We also provide a Breakfast Club from 08:05 to 09:05 with a varied nut free choice available - Food Hygiene 5* Rating
After School Club - 4 years and upwards. We are working closely with New Forest Childcare, the providers of After School activities to Medstead Primary School, so that extended day care can be offered to Medstead Preschool children 4yrs and over. We manage a positive handover to New Forest Childcare but they are responsible for invoicing, managing and delivering the service.
In conjunction with Medstead Primary School hot school lunches are available.
Charges (With effect from Sept. 2017)
Early Years Education Grant Funding. For 38 weeks per year we are registered to provide up to 15hrs per week free for 2 year old children who have an ‘acceptance letter’ and for all children aged 3 & 4 where a parent/guardian submits a Hampshire County Council claim form within pre-school. Up to 30hrs per week Grant Funded will be available from Sept. 2017 where the eligibility criteria is met.
Breakfast Club, Midday Cover and Session costs that are not covered by Grant Funding are charged at £7.50 per hour, Early Start from 08:30 at £3.75 per session.
Swimming session, when places are available, £10.00 per session (Booked Termly).
School Breakfast Club until 08:50 - 08:05 Start £6.50 and 08:30 Start £3.25
Hot school lunches - Booked half termly - £2.75 / day. (Hampshire CC charge -TBC)
Charges are normally reviewed once a year and usually take effect in September.
Child Care Vouchers
We would advise parents to check out the Childcare Voucher Scheme and we are very happy to receive payment from the various suppliers. However, we must insist that for electronic payments either the child’s name or the family name is included in the voucher provider’s remittance so that it appears on our bank statement.
